Kayserbetten Ida - child care bed

IDA beds, flexible nursing option.

The extra spacious ground clearance makes nursing from a wheelchair possible. The Ida child care bed is ideal for children with serious conditions such as tetraparesis, persistent vegetative state, spasticity of all limbs, muscular hypotonia, etc.

Since this bed is partly equipped with Plexiglas panels, the child can actively participate in what is happening around it. We manufacture Ida beds with a door height of 80 cm on one or both long sides. This protects children who are less active from climbing out of control.

The height adjustment from 44 cm to 104 cm (top edge of mattress) is also suitable for care and therapy.

For people who have to provide care from a wheelchair, the child care bed Ida offers a free space of 66 cm and is therefore ideally suited for caring for children in bed from the wheelchair. It has enough free space to use a hoist. With a load capacity of 150 kg, an adult can also go to bed with the child.

In combination with an electric sleeping platform (option KR1, KR2, KR3, KR11 and KR12, see below), Ida can be adjusted to different positions and heights. Moving the sleeping platform up and down (without reaching the end position) and varying the loads can increase the tilting (see photos below). By moving the platform to the upper and lower end positions (until the motor stops) this effect can be rebalanced. In doing so, the sleeping platform will return to its original horizontal position.
