Kayserbetten Timmy I or II - child care bed

The distinguishing feature of Timmy beds is the good accessibility from all sides of the bed.

The Timmy child care bed is excellent for children with serious and severe conditions, such as spasticity of all limbs, IPC, hypotonia muscle, tetra paresis, persistent vegetative state, etc. It is suitable for children who cannot sit independently.

The colored design of this bed with animal motifs printed on the plexiglass increases the child's acceptance of the bed and stimulates visual perception. It also stimulates the children's imagination.

This KayserBett is available in two versions. "Timmy I" with a rail height of 65 cm and "Timmy II" with a rail height of 43 cm . All four side rails can be lowered in different positions. This allows nurses to perfectly care for the child from the head or foot of the bed.

It is well suited for nursing and medical care of seriously ill children with special needs, for example those requiring artificial respiration. Removable posts (optional) make this cot also very suitable as a therapy bed. In combination with an electric insert frame (option KR 5 to KR 8, see below), Timmy I can be adjusted vertically from 74 cm to 114 cm and Timmy II from 64 cm to 104 cm (top of mattress).

Timmy's beds are fitted with 13.5 cm high castors as standard. If the child has to be taken out of the bed with a hoist, the wheels may need a height of 16.5 cm, so that the hoist can slide under the bed. All platform heights are 11.5 cm if wheels are not allowed. In this case, the bed posts should be raised by 2 cm. With a load capacity of 150 kg, an adult can also go to bed with the child.
