PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION

Dynamic cryotherapy:

ice cold water is forced through anatomically shaped cooling cuffs
Simultaneous compression ensures a better fit of the cuff, but also a dynamic engorgement resulting in a deeper cold effect, long-lasting pain relief and stimulation of the blood and lymph circulation.
pre-programmed protocols help to set the desired cold and pressure

COOLING CUFFS

cuffs specifically designed for different body parts and joints
double chamber: to circulate both cold and compression independently
- cold (1-10°C): the ice-cooled water circulates throughout the cuff for homogeneous cooling. The minimum measured skin temperature is 5°C. The most positive effects of cryotherapy can be expected with a cooling between 4.5°C and 15.5°C.
- compression (5-75 mm Hg): the air chamber is connected to a compressor that allows alternating phases of compression with relaxation
the cooling cuffs are protected by a zip-off cover, which is available separately (for hygiene reasons)
