• The portable, ergonomic and extremely light AirFeel is a device that uses breathing exercises to clear the patient's airways. By placing the ring, you can choose between two different types of use: OPEP and PEP.
• When the knob is turned to the "open" position, the device performs OPEP therapy: OPEP is a combination of PEP therapy and oscillation: PEP maximizes the flow of exhaled air and prevents dynamic collapse of the airway. The increase in alveolar ventilation combined with the oscillatory movement of the air reduces the viscoelastic properties of the mucus, making it easier to mobilize and allowing secretions to be eliminated.
• When the knob is turned to the “closed” position, the device delivers PEP therapy, locking the inner bulb and forcing air only through the selected hole in the ring. As a positive expiratory pressure (PEEP) device, AirFeel® helps improve lower airway clearance through collateral ventilation, temporarily increasing the functional residual capacity of the lungs.
• Portable and ergonomic: it is equipped with a handle that can be removed and used to store the product components and facilitate transport, also thanks to a practical bag.
• Easy to clean: the product can be completely disassembled, allowing easy thorough cleaning of the parts, which are also autoclavable.
