Comfort Room - Mattresses and elements

COMFORT ROOM FURNITURE

The Health Inspectorate has instructed / requested mental health care institutions, psychiatric hospitals, psychiatric institutions and mentally retarded institutions to reduce separation in a separation cell by applying alternatives to forced separation.

To prevent forced separation in a separation cell, a new method has been developed, namely the Comfort Rooms and Intensive Care Units. Comfort Rooms and Intensive Care Units are special ISO rooms for psychiatric clients in psychiatric hospitals or psychiatric institutions. Other names for Intensive Care Unit or Comfort Rooms are time out rooms and comfort rooms

During the development of the comfortable furniture for the comfort rooms, we assumed that when these elements are used, a minimum risk may arise. We have therefore made the comfort room elements from flame-retardant foam and flame-retardant cloth / ticking, which is also washable. Another element that reduces the danger in time out rooms or comfort rooms is that the flame-retardant ticking fabric or upholstery fabric has a high tear resistance. The cheerful colors of the comfort room elements have a calming effect, which can prevent increasing anxiety for the patient.

The range of comfortable furniture for time out areas or comfort areas consists of sofa beds, sofas, armchairs, dining room chairs, bean bags, mattresses, footstools, cubes, lounge chairs and cushions. An extensive safe range that fits well with the requirements of an intensive care unit or comfort room within psychiatric institutions and psychiatric hospitals.
