In case of dementia: Adapted cutlery with red handle

People with dementia or visual impairment notice a red color better. By giving the tableware a touch of red, we encourage better food and fluid intake.

In case of a weakened grip, e.g. due to arthritis or paralysis, a different handle can often make the difference: thicker, lighter, pre-shaped, ergonomic or with a clip. All cutlery is suitable for a household dishwasher. Industrial dishwashers such as those used in commercial kitchens and institutions can damage the handle. For large orders it is therefore advisable to do a few tests.
