Move the cranks in front of you to a point where you can maintain stability. For the swing, move your weight from your healthy leg to your arms, swinging your body through the crutches as the crutches absorb the weight. Place your healthy leg at a point forward, again maintaining stability , and transfer your weight back to the leg. Then move the cranks forward to repeat the movement. Have someone assist you while using the crutches on the stairs.
When going down, place the crutches on the next step, then step down with the right leg.
When going up, first step with the right leg up and then bring the crutches up.
