Carbon free delivery

Carbon-free delivery - Emission-free delivery.

As an e-commerce company that transports packages on a daily basis, we are well aware of the ecological footprint associated with this process. To contribute to the climate, we pay quarterly "Carbon Credits" to Ecosphere+, which uses this money to plant new forests worldwide.

We pay a certain amount to Ecosphere+ depending on the number of packages we sent and received as returns.

We also give our customers the opportunity to contribute to this cause: Customers who select the "emission-free" option in their shopping cart add an additional 3 euros to the fund that we transfer to Ecosphere+ every quarter.

Ecosphere+ is a mission-driven company that assists businesses in creating and implementing nature-based solutions that enable them to succeed in a world aligned with global climate and development goals.

What Ecosphere+ does:

We utilize nature-based "Carbon Credits" to enable innovative, market-driven business solutions that help our clients take action against climate change and achieve their sustainability objectives. We collaborate with both large corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

  • Manage climate risk
  • Reduce emissions cost-effectively
  • Address deforestation risk in supply chains
  • Launch new climate-positive products and services
  • Rebalance carbon footprint
  • As part of a €100 million impact investment fund, the Althelia Climate Fund (managed by Mirova Natural Capital), Ecosphere+ markets the world's largest portfolio of forest protection projects, generating verified carbon credits and measurable impacts on sustainable development. Our investors include the European Investment Bank, the Netherlands Development Bank FMO, Credit Suisse and AXA.

These "Carbon Credits" are part of a growing natural asset class that is equally important as renewable energy sources in the fight to slow down climate change by reducing carbon dioxide emissions, and vital for achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement on climate.
