A lap blanket that stimulates the senses and gives a feeling of peace and security.

Protac KneedMe ™ can be used by adults and the elderly with mental and / or motor restlessness who cannot sit still for long and are often restless. The blanket is placed on the user's lap, which, thanks to the gravity and pressure of the balls, can more clearly mark the limits of one's own body. This provides peace and a sense of security. The lap blanket can be used by people in an armchair or wheelchair, or sitting at the table during various activities during the day.

Protac KneedMe ™ consists of a removable, washable outer cover and an inner part that is made up of a channel-divided bag with special, heavy plastic balls. The lap blanket is specially designed to be draped over the user's thighs. The lap blanket is equipped with two sturdy Velcro straps that can be attached to the waist of the user so that it stays on the lap and does not fall to the ground. If these tires are not used, they can be stored in the designated pockets with zippers. At the top of the lap blanket are two large pockets for tucking in familiar things, which the user can then touch and examine with the hands. There is also a clip in this bag to which things can be attached.

Protac KneedMe ™ has been tested and used with great success in various care homes and special departments for residents suffering from dementia. The KneedMe ™ is also regularly used in (special) education and at institutions where people with an intellectual disability live or stay.
